My tap water measured 243 with the TDS meter. After filtering with the Aqua Azur, it was still between 0 and 2. Very pure (a few drops do fall into the water's edge at the top of the filter, and the filter is upright and secure, but still a great result). I had a Brita jug, and I measured the TDS there too, and it was still 140. I bought 12 filters, which also made them cheaper. I don't know yet how long one filter will last. In short, the Aqua Azur jug purifies incredibly well; I'm glad I have pure water.
