Fill a glass with water: Take a clean glass and fill it with the water you want to test. Make sure the water is at room temperature for an accurate reading.

Immerse the TDS meter: Insert the TDS meter into the water until the display is completely submerged. Make sure that the measuring electrodes are completely covered by the water.

 

Just measure!

Wait a few seconds for the reading to stabilize. The display will show a numerical value indicating the total amount of dissolved solids in the water, expressed in parts per million (ppm) or milligrams per liter (mg/L).

Interpret the results: Compare the measured value with the recommended TDS levels for drinking water. In general, a TDS value below 50 ppm is considered excellent for drinking water. Higher values ​​may indicate minerals or contaminants in the water.
